Octane Underground Vol.2 at Plant 4 Bowden, Saturday 12 September 2026.
We were there as vendors. Doors at 5:30pm, shutdown at 9. Neon running the full length of the space, inside the hall and out into the yard. Live DJ keeping the pace, bar upstairs with the mezzanine views, wood-fire pizza moving steady, retro gaming corner active. Vendors packed the edges.
The cars were the story. Heavy JDM presence from the moment the gates opened. Rows of them inside under the lights and more lined up outside. Stance, wheels, builds, the full range. Every angle looked sharp. The industrial shell of Plant 4 and the neon worked together clean. No dead spots. Crowd moved constantly between the indoor display, the outdoor rows, the bar and the food.
From our stall the night ran smooth. Steady traffic, people stopping, talking builds, checking product. Atmosphere stayed high the whole window. Photography was easy from the mezzanine and the floor both. The selection on the ground matched what the organisers promised. Adelaide’s best showed up.
Vol.2 is done. Plant 4 held it well. The JDM density set the tone. We will be back for the next one.
